A determined and vocal crowd gathered on Sunday June 5 at Daley Plaza to rally and march in opposition to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

On the 101st day since the start of the war, the crowd had clear messages: Boycott Russian Businesses, Stop Bombing Civilians, Arm Ukraine Now, and #Boycott Russian Goods. The group gathered strength and numbers as the afternoon progressed and eventually marched through downtown Chicago to deliver its message.

The march was organized and led by Yuriy Makar and Ukraine’s Consulate General Koledov Serhiy was also in attendance. Media coverage from WBBM Radio and WGN TV was also present.
